Tasty & Delicious Tomato Charu / Rasam
Rasam or Charu is a famous recipe from andhra cuisine and it is very easy to make and when you made a rasam don’t forget to take omelette as a combination to the rasam.
- Tomatoes – 3 Nos
- Tamarind – Amla Size
- Onion – 1 No
- Green Chillies – 3 Nos
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 T Spoon
- Coriander Powder – 1 T Spoon
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 T Spoon
- Salt – Tasty
- Turmeric powder – 1 Pinch
- Seasoning (Temper) – 1 T Spoon
- Curry Leaves – 3 bunches
- Cilantro (Dhaniya) – 3 Bunches
- Red Chillies – 2 Nos
- Garlic – 3 Pods
- Oil – 2 T Spoons
- Cumin – ½ T Spoon
- Water – 3 Cups
in a wide bowl with 3 Cups of water add squeeze juice to water along with the tomato skin, add tamarind, chopped onions, Salt, red chilli powder, Turmeric Powder and mix well and make sure all the ingredients are mixed well with the water.
Now add the curry leaves, and keep on the stove and cook until rolling boil. When the rolling boil came add the sliced green chillies, Ginger garlic paste, Coriander Powder and mix well then boil for 5 minutes.
----- Tempering ----- In a seasoning or tempering pan add oil and when it heats add the seasoning ingredients and wait for crackle, add garlic, red chilli, cumin, curry leaves, coriander leaves and add hole temper to the Tomato rasam and mix. Then again boil for 2 minutes.
That’s it you tasty and easy Rasam is ready to serve with rice.
