The making of Roti which looks like Roomali (English called it as Kerchief), so the name came it as Roomali roti. It was very Common Roti in all Indian Restaurants. So Fallow the Recipe Text and do in your Home.
- Wheat flour-1 cup
- Maida-1 cup
- Ghee- 1 Tb spoon
- Salt- tasty
- Rice flour-1 Tb spoons for spreading
Take a bowl and add wheat flour and Maida and salt and mix well and add water little by little and make smooth dough, some loose consistency than normal roti dough and knead for 30 mints
Take dough balls and spread with hand and roll with Chapathy roller until puri size make two roti's at a time and grease ghee on both Roti's and spray rice flour over Roti and place on e on another greasing sides inside and attach with hand once and rill with roller in to thin chapathy’ s and keep for frying.
Heat Tawa for 5 mints, when the Tawa was so hot place Roti and press gently with spatula and when they get bubbles ,turn and fry for 2 mints, until brown spots appears. Take out and cool for 1 minute now separate Roti’s in to two pieces, that’s all your thin and soft smooth Roti was ready.
Fold Roti from Center and fold like kerchief Folding. Your Roomali Roti ready to serve, serve hot it was not so soft o cooling so serve hot. It was looking like Roomali (Kerchief) so the name Roomali Roti.
