Mysore Bonda Batter Preparation

Mysore Bonda or Bajji is a Famous Indian Breakfast Recipe, Today I am revealing the secret of Making Batter Preparation. So Try This Recipe.


  • Maida-1/4 kg
  • Urad dal-100 grams
  • Cooking soda-pinch
  • Salt-tasty
  • Oil-for deep fry


Step 1

Soak Urad dal for 5 hours & grind well with2 cups water approximately Grind in to smooth Paste. Mix urad dal paste with Maida and add little water and make some loose batter like idly batter.

Step 2

Ferment over night if you want add some onion pieces and ferment overnight.

Step 3

Next day the Batter will ferment well it shows some bubbles on batter.

Step 4

Heat oil for Deep fry, Wet your hands with Water and take small amount of batter and drop in oil. Fry until brown colour and take out in paper napkin plate. Serve hot with Chutney.
