Mixed Vegetable Curry (Dhaba Style) [facebook_like_box]

This is the alltime favorite gravy for all north indian which were used to live in north india especially this gravy is good and very tasty with tandoori roti and Roti and Paratha.

when i was in gujarat this is my favorite curry recipe for the combination of Tandoori Roti and Naans


  • Carrots - 1/4 Cup
  • Beans - 1/4 Cup
  • Capsicum - 1/4 Cup
  • Potato - 1/4 Cup
  • Cauliflower - 1/4 Cup
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 T Spoon
  • Coriander Powder - 2 T Spoons
  • Oil - 2 Tb Spoons
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 T Spoon
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 T Spoon
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 T Spoon
  • Cilantro (Dhaniya) - 1 Bunch
  • Paneer - 8 Cubes (Optional)
  • Cream or Malai - 1 Tb Spoon
  • Tomatoes - 1/4 Cup
  • Water - for Gravy
  • Cumin (gas Gas) - 1/2 T Spoon


Step 1

Cut all the vegetables into pieces and keep aside (you may watch our video below to see how the pieces are to be chopped or cutted)

Step 2

Turn on the Gas and keep the hard bottomed Pan, add oil and heat for 1 minute (check the heat)

Step 3

Check the heat and add the cumin seeds and wait for splutter and add Chopped Onions and Green Chillies and fry for 4 to 5 Minutes (the onions will go to light brown or transparent). then add the ginger garlic paste and fry until it loses the Raw Smell. then add the tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes by closing the lid so that the tomatoes will be well cooked turns into very smooth.

Step 4

Now add Coriander Powder, Garam Masala Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder Salt and mix well for 2 Minutes then the gas flame shall be Low

Step 5

Now add all chopped vegetables slowly One By One after adding all vegetables then add water and make sure all the vegetables are covered in the water if not add some more water cook for 5 to 8 minutes by closing the lid.

Step 6

after you make sure the vegetables cooked add the Paneer cubes and Cream or Malai and mix well then close the lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes

Step 7

after well cooking of vegetables (make sure by pressing one of vegetables like potato or carrot) then add the cilantro (dhania) just before turning off the stove.

Step 8

that's all you favorite Mixed Vegetable gravy (Dhaba Style) is read to serve.
