this Masala garelu recipe is a common breakfast recipe in south indian and this is made from urad dal, green chillies, ginger, cooking soda and oil for deep fry. and this is very good when it was served with the break fast chutney (which you can find our channel attamma tv
- Urad dal-1/2 k.g.
- Green chilli-4
- Ginger-1 inch size,
- Oil-for deep fry
- Cooking soda-pinch
- Curry leaves-2 bunches
Soak urad dal for 5 hours and take in a mixer jar and salt, grind green chilli and ginger,onion, in to smooth paste with Motor or Mixer and Grind well in to tight paste.
Heat oil for deep fry and heat well. Take a wet cloth and place on Wide bottom bowl and place batter on cloth and make a hole at center.
Take out and drop in oil one by one cook on medium flame until brown. Take out in a paper napkin plate.
Serve hot as snack with chutney.
