Macaroni Gongura curry

Ingredients:

  • Macaroni-100 grms
  • gongura -2 bundles
  • red chilli powder-2 t spoons
  • turmeric-pinch
  • salt-tasty
  • Onion-1
  • green chilli-3
  • oil-2 tb spoons
  • tomato-1
  • curry leaves& cilantro-2 bunches
  • garam masala-1 t spoon
  • ginger garlic paste-1 t spoon

Method

Step 1

Heat kadai and boil some water with 1 t spoon salt  after water boiled add macaroni and cook for 10 mints  approximately Add 1 t spoon oil  to avoid sticking of macaroni and check  thy are cooked or not by cutting macaroni  in to two pieces. Drain from water and keep a side.

Step 2

Pluck gongura leaves and wash 3-4 times and keep a side. heat pan and add 1t spoon oil and fry gongura for 5 mints  and add little water and cook until well cooked and allow to cool for 5 minutes (cook until water completely absorbs) After cooling mash gongura in to paste with dal masher and keep a side.

Step 3

Now heat kadai and oil and add onion, green chilli & fry for 2 minutes and add curry leaves and add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw smell gone. Add tomato & fry until saute and add Macaroni & fry for 2 mints and add gongura paste and mix well.

Step 4

Add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric and mix well and fry for 5 minutes on low flame. Add garam masala and fry for 2 mints and serve hot.

Step 5

Serve macaroni gongura curry hot with rice. Try this different recipe.
