Bitter gourd spicy powder/ kakarakaya karam is a Traditional Andhra side Dish, Mainly made from Bitter gourd and Dry Coconut Powder and famous in name by Kakarakaya Karam, Good for 1 Month and We can Taste with Rice and Any Breakfast Item.Try This Kakarakaya karam.
- Bitter gourd-1/4 k.g.
- Dry coconut-1 T spoon
- Red chilli-2
- oil-3 Tb spoons
- Redchilli powder-2 Tb spoons
- Garlic pods-4
Scrap Bitter gourd and cut Both End's and cut them in to thin slices,you can cut as thin as possible.
Cut Dry Coconut in to small pieces and grind well in to fine powder,add Red chilly powder and salt and garlic pod's in that and grind again.
Heat 3 Tb spoons oil in kadai and Deep fry Bitter gourd slices until Crispy and Brown colour,Take out and keep a side.Remove excess oil and keep 1 T spoon oil in that kadai
Fry cumin,Redchilli,Garlic for 2 mints and Add Ground coconut powder and fry for 3 mints and adjust salt and serve .
Taste with Rice and Any Breakfast.Good for 1 month.
