- cashew nuts-1 cup
- sugar-1 cup
- water-1/4 cup
- yellow colour -pinch(optional)
- ghee-1/2 cup
Heat deep Kadai and add sugar and add water and make single thread consistency syrup on low flame, it will take 10-15 mints. Take a mixer jar and cashew nuts and grind in to powder and keep a side.
When the syrup comes to single thread consistency add Kaaju powder and if you want add pinch of yellow food colour and mix well. Keep on stirring and cook until thick consistency comes. Cook on low flame only and add ghee at middle at regular intervals. When the gravy thickens take out and cool for 5 mints.
Grease ghee on platform and place kaju mixture and grease ghee on chapathy stick and press gently, with stick and make 1/2 inch thickness.
After 15 mints cut pieces as your wish and serve hot. Cut nicely and make nice diamond shape it will look nicely. Try this Kaju katli traditional recipe. at your home and give us your feedback
