Ground Nut Chutney

Ingredients

  • Ground nuts - 1 cup
  • Green chilly - 7 Nos (as per your Spicyrequirement)
  • Tamarind - Pinch
  • Salt-Tasty
  • Onion - Small size Half
  • --------- Ingredients for Tampering -----
  • Oil - 1 T spoon
  • Mustard seeds - 1 T spoon
  • Garlic cloves - 2 Nos
  • Curry leaves-1 bunch
  • Red chilly - 2 Nos
  • Cumin - 1 spoon

Method

Step 1

Fry Groundnuts in a Dry pan and Peel the covering layers and kept a side. Take a pan add 2 spoons oil and add Green chilly and fry them by closing the Lid. after frying onions and kept a side.

Step 2

After cooling, take a mixer jar add Green chilly, Ground nuts and Tamarind, and Onion, salt and grind them.

Step 3

After that go for tampering. Heat oil in a pan add Mustard seeds and allow to crackle them and add garlic, cumin seeds, Red chilli and fry lastly add curry leaves and take out from the stove.

Step 4

Mix this tampering in to chutney and keep for eating. Eat with Idly, Dosa, Upma Ect.
