Fried Veg Momos


  • Maida – 2 Cups
  • Oil for Deep Fry
  • Salt – Tasty
  • -------- Stuffing Ingredients ------
  • Grated Carrot – 1 Cup
  • Grated Cabbage – 1 Cup
  • Grated Capsicum – ½ Cup
  • Curry Leaves – 2 Bunches
  • Green Chilli – 2 Nos
  • Tomato – 2 Nos
  • Chopped Garlic – 2 T Spoons
  • Chopped Ginger – 2 T Spoons
  • Chopped Onions – 1 No (Med Size)
  • Oil – 2 T Spoons
  • Red Chilli Powder – 2 T Spoons
  • Turmeric Powder – ½ T Spoons
  • Salt – Tasty
  • Coriander Leaves – 2 Bunches
  • Pepper Powder – Pinch


Step 1

Take Bowl and add Maida, Salt, mix well then add some water and make a dough Turn on the stove place the non-stick kadai add oil and heat add chopped ginger and garlic pieces for one minute add onions and fry until colour changes (will take 2 – 3 minutes) Add curry leaves, green chillies fry for 2 minutes Tip: add salt for quick fry

Step 2

Add Grated carrot and fry for 3 minutes then add grated cabbage fry for few seconds and then add grated capsicum pieces, Tomatoes and fry for 3 minutes. Add Pepper Powder, Salt, Red Chilli Powder mix well cook until it loses the raw smell from the vegetables

Step 3

Making – Momos with Maida Take a maida dough balls then make a thin chapathy shapes make a cut using a sharp lid of the bowl to maintain the equal shapes, now grease water on the edges of the pressed round shape of the dough now place the vegetable mixture on the chapathy shape and make a momo shape (for how to make a perfect shape of the momos as show in the title picture you must watch our video shown below)

Step 4

Place the kadai on the stove and heat the oil and deep fry our already completed memo shapes and fry until these turns to brown colour which was show in the title picture

Step 5

That’s all Nepal favourite Momos are ready right in your home
