Drumstick Pickle (మూలక్కడ పచ్చడి)


  • Drumstick- ¼ kg
  • Redchilli powder- 2 t spoons
  • Salt- 2 t spoons
  • Fenugreek seeds powder-1 t spoon
  • Cumin powder- 2 t spoons
  • Seasoning- 1 t spoon
  • Cumin- 1 t spoon
  • Turmeric- 1 t spoon
  • Garlic pods- 15 Nos
  • Curry leaves- 2 bunches
  • Mustered oil- 3 T spoons
  • Red chilli- 3 Nos
  • Ginger garlic paste- 2 T spoons
  • Lemon- 1 no


Step 1

Peel the drumsticks and keep aside Turn on the stove add mustard oil and heat then add the drumstick pieces when they become crispy take out and keep aside

Step 2

in the same pan add seasoning and wait for crackle then add jeera fry for few seconds then add ginger garlic paste after frying for 2 to three minutes add garlic pods, curry leaves mix well and fry well when the fry starts nice aroma add turmeric powder, fry dry red chillies after frying for 2 minutes take out and let it cool for 10 minutes

Step 3

after cooling the fry add the fenugreek powder, raw red chilli powder, salt and already fried drumstick pieces then mix well and make sure all the pieces are well mixed with the drumstick pieces. sprinkle lemon juice on top and take out in a pickle jar and rest for minimum 1 day

Step 4

preserve in a pickle jar and it will hold for 30 days if there is no wetness in the house. Good Luck and happy recipe
