Gatti Ulli Pakodi | Crispy Onion Pakoda (Hotel Style) Snack

  • Onions big - 4
  • Besan - 5 to 6 tablespoons
  • Curry leaves - 1 spring
  • Salt - tasty
  • Oil for deep fry


Step 1

Peel and wash onions and slice into long pieces, Take a wide mouthed bowl and add onion slices, Add salt for taste and Squeeze tightly and mix well with the salt now seperate the onion slices from the bowl in to another bowl - Add curry leaves (optional) Add besan little by little now mix well together to form a tight batter Note : do not add any water to this mixture

Step 2

Take a deep kadai and place on the stove and add oil, after checking the heat take little part from the batter and drop in the oil solowly and keep the stove in the medium flame and when the pakoda turns to golden colour remove from the oil and keep on the paper napkin to remove the excess oil from Pakoda

Step 3

thats it your tasty evening snacks are ready to eat and you can keep this in a air tight container and it will good for 3 days in a nomal atmosphere.
