Cabbage kaju chena fry (క్యాబేజీ జీడిపప్పుఫ్రై)
- Cabbage – ½ Kg
- Onion – 1 No
- Tomato – 1 No
- Green Chilli – 3 Nos
- Chena Dal – 100 Grams (Soaked in Water for 10 Minutes)
- Seasoning Ingredients – 1 T Spoon
- Cashew Nuts (kaju) – 50 Grams
- Curry Leaves – 2 Bunches
- Dry Coconut – 100 Grams
- Red Chilli Powder – 2 T Spoons
- Red Chillies – 2 Nos
- Turmeric Powder – Pinch
- Cumin – ½ T Spoon
- Salt – Tasty
- Ghee – 1 Tb Spoon
Turn on the stove place the kadai, add water, chena dal and cook for 10 minutes drain the same and keep aside.
Take mixer jar, add dry coconut and grind like mixture, take a cabbage and chop like a fine pieces. In the same kadai with water add chopped cabbage pieces and cook for few minutes to remove the raw smell from cabbage.
Place the pan on the stove, after heating pan add ghee, add cashew nuts and fry, add cumin and fry, add red chillies and fry, add chopped onions and fry until brown colour, add green chillies, fry for 2 minutes
Then add curry leaves, raw chena dal and fry for 5 minutes by closing the lid After 5 minutes open the lid and add tomatoes again close the lid and saute for 3 minutes Add cooked cabbage, red chilli powder, salt & turmeric powder and saute for 3 to 5 minutes and take out in a serving bowl and serve.
