Home made butter from malai is a easy procedure to make the butter from home and it was very pure
Butter is a dairy product made by churning fresh or fermented cream or milk, to separate the butterfat from the buttermilk. It is generally used as a spread and a condiment, as well as in cooking, such as baking, sauce making, and pan frying. Butter consists of butterfat, milk proteins and water.
- • Malai (Meegada) – o How to get Malai from Milk: Boil milk for 10 Minutes and allow to cool then keep in refrigerator for 1 Hour Malai will form like thick layers
Collect the Malai for 10 Days and keep it Refrigerator until we collect our require quantity Take a mixer jar add this collected malai and grind for 5 minutes and after that Malai will form top of the liquid and it can be seen after proper grinding the collected liquid
Separate this solid content from the grinder and take it in a cotton cloth and squeeze well to remove the unnecessary water from the malai. Keep a Heavy weight for 1 Hour
Then take a plastic sheet and take the butter into the sheet and roll it, close the edges and keep this in air tight container and keep it in deep freezer for 2 to 3 hours.
That’s all your home made butter is ready to use This can be good for Bread spread and making the butter chicken etc…
