Bread Cutlet Recipe by Attamma TV


  • Boiled potatoes -2
  • Bread slices -12 ( white or brown) for bread crumps and making cutlet
  • Chopped cilantro-10 springs
  • Green chilli - 2
  • chopped onion -1
  • one inch ginger
  • Cumin- 1/4 t spoon
  • lemon juice - 1 table spoon
  • Garam masala powder -1 t spoon
  • Turmeric powder pinch and red chilli powder 1 t spoon
  • Salt 1 t spoon
  • Corn flour - 3 table spoons
  • Oil for deep fry


Step 1

Take the Bread Slices Cut All the edges of Bread, cut in to pieces then grind like a powder . from this powder seperate one cup for using as a dusting while making the clutlets. take a cooker and cook potatoes (normally 3 whistles are enough to get correct cooked potatoes for mashing )

Step 2

Take a bowl and add all ingredients one by one Salt and turmeric, Redchilli powder, GInger, cilantro, onion chilly, Corn flour for binding, Garam masala powder, Lemon juice - 1 table spoon and Cumin. now knead well Make The dough like this no need to add water to make dough then Rest for 10 minutes

Step 3

keep the kadai on the stove while oil going to heat Grease your hands with oil and make lemon size balls and make cutlet shape or round coat in bread crumbs ( bread crumbs gives brown color and avoid breaking of cutlet while frying) Keep a side

Step 4

Slowly drop the cutlets and deep fry for 5 to 6 minutes on medium flame, Turn both sides and fry until golden brown colour, When the cutlets become golden brown then Take out and keep on paper napkin, They will be very soft & smooth when take out from oil so keep dry for 5 minutes on paper napkin for getting hard.

Step 5

Repaet the procedure for the rest of the shapes and serve after 5 minutes with a red ketchup and i will sure your kids are gonna love this recipe
