Bitter gourd fry (కాకరకాయ వేపుడు)


  • Bitter gourd pieces-1/4 kg
  • Tomato-1 No
  • Onion-1No
  • Green chilli-2 Nos
  • salt, Tasty turmeric - Pinch
  • Red chillies -1 No
  • Curry leaves-2 bunches
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 T spoon
  • Ground Nuts-2 tab spoons
  • RedChillli Powder- 1 T spoons
  • Oil-2 T spoon


Step 1

Wash bitter gourd and peel or scrap the surface (Green Area) then keep aside

Step 2

Take Non Stick Pan and Heat Oil, add seasoning fry until crackle, and add onions, green chilli then add groundnuts, Red Chillli’s , curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, tomato saute for 4 to 8 minutes then add bitter gourd, sauté for 10 minutes, then add salt and Red Chillli powder, then fry for 5 minutes, finally add cilantro for flavor and cook for few seconds.

Step 3

After few seconds take out in a serving bowl and serve hot with Rice.
