Anda Bhurji (Egg Bhurji)


  • Eggs -4
  • Ginger garlic paste -1 table spoon
  • Chopped onion -1
  • Chopped tomato - 4
  • Red chilli powder - 1 T spoon
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • Chopped green chilli - 2
  • Cilantro - 4 bunches
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil- 2 table spoons
  • Garam masala powder - 1 t spoon
  • Coriander powder -1 t spoon
  • Seasoning ingredients - 1 t spoon
  • Cumin -1 t spoon


Step 1

turn on the stove heat keep kadai and heat, add oil and heat, then add seasoning & cumin seeds then wait for crackle, then add green chillies fry for 1 minute after 1 minute Add onion and fry for 3 minutes, Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes, Add tomato and fry for 10 minutes on low flame

Step 2

Stir well in-between, Add red chilli powder and turmeric and salt, Mix and saute for 1 minute now Add cilantro, Just break the eggs like this and pour in gravy when the oil oozes out Don't disturb with spoon until it becomes hard, Keep the flame low

Step 3

Saute for 3 minutes on low flame, After 3 minutes eggs will looks like this, Slowly mix with wooden ladle, Saute for 5 mints, then Add Garam masala and coriander powder, Saute for 1 minute and switch off the stove

Step 4

Serve with rice, roti and Chapathy, Try this yummy Tomato egg burji
